Nearly half of the legislation related to dual enrollment last year addressed access specifically &#8211; including cost, barriers to participation, eligibility requirements and the number of qualified educators.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new Policy Snapshot captures all of the 2019 legislative activity, including the 36 bills that were enacted in 23 states, and includes state examples in the four areas mentioned above, highlighting examples from AR, CA, CO, FL, IA, IN, NC, NH, OR, RI, TX, UT, VT and WA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more, see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecs.org\/dual-enrollment-access\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">https:\/\/www.ecs.org\/dual-enrollment-access\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A new policy scan from Education Commission of the States reveals the incredible growth of dual enrollment policies across the nation.
