But we can&#8217;t forget that, when participating in teacher preparation programs and professional development, teachers are students themselves-and they also need the support of great educators to reach their potential. So what can we do to ensure that <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">teacher educators<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211;teachers of teachers&#8211;are prepared to provide that support?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/education-first.com\/library\/publication\/teacher-preparation-transformation-centers-learning-series-teacher-educators\/?mc_cid=972ef3df2f&amp;mc_eid=36af9c46e9\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">second brief<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of the Teacher Preparation Transformation Centers Learning Series,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a working group of five teacher preparation experts&#8211;Sarah Beal of<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">US PREP<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Meagan Comb of<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EPIC<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Kaycee Salmaccia of<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">TeacherSquared<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Shari Dickstein-Staub of the<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">National Center for Teacher Residencies<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and advisory member Nicole Garcia of<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">TeachingWorks<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211;attempt to answer this question.
