\"gettingSmart_logo\"<\/a>The Getting Smart team has released Preparing Teachers for a Project-Based World<\/a>, a publication exploring how teacher preparation and professional learning can align to–and be modeled after–the types of deeper learning environments we seek to create for students. This publication is part of Getting Smart\u2019s year long It’s a Project-Based World<\/a> campaign.<\/p>\n

Drawing upon the expertise and leadership of PBL educators across the country, authors Tom Vander Ark and Dr. Emily Liebtag share what an ideal preparation program and early career professional learning for teachers ought to look like if we want to develop high-quality PBL teachers. The paper focuses on pre-service preparation and the first few years of teaching and outlines what a well-prepared teacher should know and be able to do.<\/span><\/p>\n
