\"gtl\"<\/a>The Center on Great Teachers and Leaders (GTL Center) has released a host of information on its new Social and Emotional Learning School website to help teachers, school and district leaders, and state education agencies collaborate in connecting social and emotional learning (SEL) to effective teaching. An interactive graphic is available to help educators learn about core SEL competencies for both teachers and students, the teaching practices that support social and emotional learning for students, and action steps to better integrate SEL skills into teaching and learning.<\/p>\n

GTL Center has also recently released a new professional learning module: \u201cSocial and Emotional Learning in the Daily Life of Classrooms\u201d. Great teachers do more than promote students’ academic learning; they teach the whole child. Skills for social and emotional learning are critical to students’ ability to meet new college and career readiness standards.
