\"\"<\/a>Few efforts are as pressing this school year as those of identifying issues and creating new approaches to improve educator quality. In support of these imperatives,\u00a0 (AIR) has released new resources to ensure that leaders have the capabilities and tools needed to successfully improve teaching and learning.<\/p>\n

The online destinations for these new resources can be found at www.educatortalent.org<\/a> and www.revivingschools.org. <\/a>Both online destinations provide rich, research-based tools and information to strengthen educator evaluation, develop instructional practice and leadership, and aid turnaround efforts. Resources include:<\/p>\n

The Performance Management Scorecard. Launched last week, the interactive Performance Management Scorecard <\/a>provides a real-time evaluation system self-assessment to help states and districts identify gaps in principal and teacher evaluation systems that need attention this school year. Components of the Performance Management Scorecard, including a district-level Teacher Performance Management Scorecard<\/a> and Principal Performance Management Scorecard<\/a> and a state-level Teacher Performance Management Scorecard<\/a> and Principal Performance Management Scorecard,<\/a> can be downloaded individually.<\/p>\n

Educator Effectiveness Resources. Teacher and principal effectiveness resources, including webinars on evaluation<\/a> showcase the latest research from experts and lessons about what works from leaders on the ground, with the goal of transforming teacher and principal evaluation to improve school performance. The comprehensive, interactive Scorecard and Educator Effectiveness Resources are available at AIR’s educator talent management website: www.educatortalent.org.<\/a><\/p>\n
